Angelito or Angel, as he is fondly called, was allegedly intentionally left on March 19, 1995 inside a passenger jeepney with two boxes of Nestogen and baby clothes with the initials “LD” and a feeding bottle when he was about 3 months old. When the driver found the baby, he informed his kumpadre (male friend) and waited for somebody to claim the child but no one did.

He then took the child home and subsequently, because of financial constraints brought about by the child’s multiple congenital anomalies, the child was surrendered to the social welfare system. He has cerebral palsy, clubfoot, strabismus, high arched palate and is moderately malnourished.

Angel, upon admission to Chosen Children on December 2, 1995, had hemangioma on his forehead and a scar on his left eye. He was brought for a check-up because he was very week. He had to be confined in the hospital for three days. He is a handsome little boy and has fair complexion and is now recuperating progressively.

CHOSEN CHILDREN VILLAGE FOUNDATION is maintained solely through donations, sponsorships and grants and has a Board of Trustees whose members serve without compensation.
