Danny was born through normal spontaneous delivery assisted by a hilot (local midwife) on September 25, 1990. He was born totally blind and is third among three siblings. Danny’s natural parents can hardly subsist and thus are not able to provide adequately for his needs. He was voluntarily surrendered by his parents to the social welfare system on May 20,1991 for proper disposition.

Due to limited resources and facilities to provide for the needs of Danny who is a special needs child, he was referred to the Chosen Children Village on April 25, 1992 for proper case management. Danny weighed 13.25 pounds, measured 29.5 inches in height and had a head circumference of 17.5 inches upon admission. He is brown complexioned, has black curly hair and is very small for his age.

CHOSEN CHILDREN VILLAGE FOUNDATION is maintained solely through donations, sponsorships and grants and has a Board of Trustees whose members serve without compensation.
