Because Harold was sick and weak with high fever, the family who owned the house brought him to a doctor where he was diagnosed to have sepsis. He was also brought to an eye-ear and throat specialist for eye examination and was found to have cataracts on both eyes. According to the examining doctor, an operation was required. However, this would depend upon the improvement of his health condition. In September, DSWD Secretary Corazon De Leon contacted Chosen Children to refer the child for continuous case management.
